Review : The episode goes a long way to establish a more in depth background for both Martok and Worf. Worf admitting to Sisko that he was going to allow himself to be killed showed that his spirit had been broken and Martok healed him. The greatest moment is the Klingon crew singing together with a renewed outlook on battle and looking forward to victory instead of planning on defeat. The next greatest moment is when Worf admits that he did not know Martok would not kill him. Work was willing to die to renew Martok's warrior spirit.

Review : Everyone else has touched on why this episode deserves the highest rating, so as to not repeat those words I will add some different insight. This episode contains my favorite Chief O'Brien moment. After dragging the makeshift raft of supplies to shore, ship sinking in the background, and with no ability to call for help, O'Brien genuinely bemaons the tear in his pants before realizing how ridiculous it is and causing everyone else, for a moment, to forget their desperate plight.

Review : I've watched this episode many times before, and I've always thought it was very well done. Now that I have a daughter, this episode had me choked up watching the plight of the O'Briens as they lose Molly, get her back, watch her struggle, lose her again, and finally regain the little girl they both missed. DS9 always made the effects on the people stand out and resonate with the audience. The side story with Worf and Yoshi is well done from the dedicated "I will make him sleep" to the overreaction of calling a medical emergency for a bump on the head. Worf shows that he acts like any other man deling with a young child for the first time.

Review : A great episode just before the war heats up again to help the crew remember that they are friends and have been growing apart. The 3 year time difference was just enough to have a blissful ignorance on Lisa's part of the war and not enough to raise suspicion on the Defiant.
