A weapon used by Ramuran ships. The Proton beam was thought capable of penetrating any shielding, regardless of modulation, impacing the ship in an effect similar to being struck by thousands of needles. Harry was able to work with the tracer Kellin to develop a new defence against the weapon by tying baryon sensors into deflector control. This let the deflector scatter the incoming proton beam, greatly reducing its effect on the shields. [1]
