Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Commander Kruge [1]
Species : Klingons

Commander of a Klingon Bird of Prey, Kruge obtained information regarding the Genesis project from the Federation via his operative Valkris. Kruge destroyed the USS Grissom and attempted to kidnap Dr. David Marcus and Lieutenant Saavik, the scientists investigating the planet. When Admiral Kirk intervened, Kruge ordered David killed. Kirk trapped Kruge's crew on the Enterprise in retaliation, having first set the ship to self-destruct. Kruge and Kirk fought hand to hand on the surface of the disintegrating Genesis planet; Kirk managed to kill the Klingon before escaping. [1]
