A Vorta agent, Eris was part of an attempt to infiltrate the Federation. To this end she pretended to be a fugitive being pursued by the Jem'Hadar so as to gain sympathy from Commander Sisko. The plan was succeeding until Quark discovered Eris's true plans. Eris possessed a form of telekinetic ability, something most Vorta do not display. [1]
