Administrator of the Vulcan High Command in 2154, V'Las was determined to provoke a war between his people and the Andorians because of rumours that the Andorians were using Xindi technology to build a weapon of mass destruction. Concerned that the Vulcan faction known as the Syrrannites were promoting a philosophy of pacifism, V'Las framed them for the bombing of the Earth embassy on Vulcan in order to provide an excuse to exterminate the movement. [2] V'Las was deposed and the High Command dissolved after Captain Archer managed to retrieve the Kir'Shara, an ancient relic bearing Surak's original teachings. [3]
