Denmark will cull ALL of its minks - up to 17 MILLION - after a mutated version of coronavirus was found to have spread to people on farms
Denmark will cull its mink population of up to 17 million in an effort to minimise the risk of them re-transmitting a new version of coronavirus to humans.
The nation's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Wednesday that the mutated virus in farmed minks could have 'devastating consequences worldwide' and action was 'necessary'.
A report from a government agency that maps the coronavirus in Denmark has shown the mutation has now been found in 12 people in the northern part of the country.
At a press conference the Prime Minister said: 'We have a great responsibility towards our own population, but with the mutation that has now been found, we have an even greater responsibility for the rest of the world as well.
'The mutated virus in mink may pose a risk to the effectiveness of a future vaccine,' Frederiksen said, adding that it 'risks being spread from Denmark to other countries.'
The findings, which have been shared with the World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, were based on laboratory tests by the State Serum Institute, the Danish authority dealing with infectious diseases.
The head of WHO's emergencies programme, Mike Ryan, on Friday called for full-scale scientific investigations of the 'complex, complex issue' of humans - outside China - infecting mink which in turn transmitted the virus back to humans.
Anti-vaxxer and far-right protesters blocked the entrance of a mass vaccine site at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles Saturday, forcing officials to temporarily shut down the operation.
Dozens of protesters holding aloft signs reading “Save Your Soul,” and “COVID = SCAM” halted traffic, stranding hundreds of people desperate to get the life-saving injections.
The Los Angeles Fire Department closed the site at mid-afternoon, the Los Angeles Times reported. It was reopened about an hour later, reported NBC News.
There were no arrests, according to NBC, which infuriated critics on Twitter.
The site is one of the largest vaccine operations in the nation.
One witness told the newspaper that protesters were lying to motorists that the vaccine is fake — or dangerous. One protester was captured on video telling a driver: “Wow. Have fun being a byproduct of Bill Gates.” Another warned: “You are becoming a lab rat.”

In late January 2020 only a few dozen COVID-19 infections had been identified outside of China. Now the virus has spread to every corner of the globe. More than 100 million infections have been reported worldwide, and the death toll is above 2 million, according to researchers at Johns Hopkins University.
The United States has far more COVID cases and deaths than any other country. India and Brazil have the second and third highest tally of cases respectively.

Well let's see here. The guy was and still is all about Trump. Thinks that Trump won but the Democrats stole the election. It's not that hard of concept to follow that line of thought this guy has that before he got Covid to think just like alot of people like that thinks about Covid.
