“NCIS: Los Angeles” actor Miguel Ferrer died Thursday after a battle with cancer.
He was 61.
Ferrer was best known for his role as Owen Granger for seven seasons on the long-running cop show.
“Today, 'NCIS: Los Angeles' lost a beloved family member,” showrunner R. Scott Gemmill said in a statement.

I remember him most for being Bob Morton from RoboCop.

Amazingly enough, that right there is the very first time I realised that he was the guy in Robocop. I must have seen that movie ten times, never once recognised him. Weird.

You were probably more awed by Clarence Boddiicker, played by another Star Trek alum, Kurtwood Smith, who killed Bob Morton and uttered the immortal bad guy line, "Bitches leave."
