Slides to digital pictures

OK I just found probably what is the tip of the iceberg in slides. My grandmother on my Dad's side apparently loved it but my grandparents died before I was born.

Anyway, my parents have very little in pictures of that side. I was thinking of how to get these slides to physical or digital picture format.

Yes I have the capability but not the time. Like I said it is in the hundreds and tip of the iceberg.

Yes, narrowing it down is a possibility but likely will not happen.

So anyone know of a company or a program that does it cheap?

There are scanners that can scan slides into the computer. Not sure they make them anymore though. Could perhaps get one on eBay.

My scanner can do it but it takes forever to do hundreds.

Here's a link for a cheap slide scanner that takes a stack of slides and gets them into the computer. No idea if the quality is any good:

This was more the kind of machine I had in mind to start with:
