If you are saying that you are getting repeating words I can't explain it. The traditional advice prevails:

- Clear your internet cache
- Clear your cookies
- Clear your browsing history
- Connect to the site using a typed URL, rather than a bookmark
- Reset your phone
- Turn it off and back on
- Sacrifice a chicken
- Bury the phone in a peat bog for 30 days

It seems to be only this site that does it and it is random.

And yes it is repeating the same words I type and sometimes it jumps back into the previous one.

I am going to test the other ideas. But this isn't the first time is has done this.

I'm no technical expert, but there aren't any peat bogs in New Jersey. Will the marshes in the Pine Barrens suffice?

Possibly but I would think you would need to use a turkey in stead of a chicken.

Dunno, the software we use is phpBB version 3. Pretty common forum software.

Maybe it's the keyboard app I use. I use SwiftKey keyboard which is not standard for Galaxy S5 phones.

It seems to be full editor and not thetquick ice commentcfield. t field

I have done a couple of experiments. It is indeed random. I did try the three versions of replying to a text. Quoting works fine. Using the full editor text field works. The quick reply field works fine.

So it appears to be random.

Any way you can look into it?

Quick quote seems to affect it. If I go from that to full text, then I have the issues. Or edit.

It's not the site. It would appear to be your phone. The stuff the site does it perfectly simply HTML forms and a bit of JavaScript. We're on the latest version so there are no upgrades pending. I don't know what I could do to help.

OK. I just tried to email someone through my phone for the first time in years and it did the same thing I have been describing.

It might be the keyboard app I use which replaces the default one on the Galaxy S5.

But like I said it seems to have an issue with this site's text field and now the field of the standard Android app for emails.

Clearly if it's happening with they built in mail client then the Keyboard app you are using is faulty. Sounds like you need to replace it with something that works correctly.

My keyboard is SwiftKey if anyone is curious
