Blackstar's character is from a more advanced race than the Federation. Hence hir comments about upgrading the ship. Though, given that Fed ships seem to have structural problems going faster than they were designed, that may not be a good idea to try out.

Right. I think keeping the ship together, rather than available technical expertise, will define our upper limits.

Ehh, ya never know, being able to go fast is allways handy. Want to be able to run away rather than fighting after youve completed your contract, to avoid drawing too much attention to yourself... unless, you know, you LIKE the veiw inside a cell.

Speaking of which.. we got/able to get/want to get any cloaking systems?

We will have access to one, but it's one from a shuttle - chances are it will be another precarious maintenance issue.

Have we got a name for this RPG? Everyone just keeps refering to it as 'the new RPG' or 'the spin-off'.

Again, that is up to Blackstar. It will probably end up being the same as the ship. Not that we know of what she is called.

Good point, we need a name for that as well.

I vote for the SS St. Stephen, but we probably don't have too many Deadhead Trekkers here.

"Saint stephen with a rose, in and out of the garden he goes,
Country garden in the wind and the rain,
Wherever he goes the people all complain.

Stephen prospered in his time, well he may and he may decline.
Did it matter, does it now? stephen would answer if he only knew how.
Wishing well with a golden bell, bucket hanging clear to hell,
Hell halfway twixt now and then,
Stephen fill it up and lower down and lower down again.

Lady finger, dipped in moonlight, writing what for? across the morning sky.
Sunlight splatters, dawn with answer, darkness shrugs and bids the day good-bye.

Speeding arrow, sharp and narrow,
What a lot of fleeting matters you have spurned.
Several seasons with their treasons,
Wrap the babe in scarlet colors, call it your own.
Did he doubt or did he try? answers aplenty in the bye and bye,
Talk about your plenty, talk about your ills,
One man gathers what another man spills.

Saint stephen will remain, all hes lost he shall regain,
Seashore washed by the suds and foam,
Been here so long, hes got to calling it home.

Fortune comes a crawlin, calliope woman, spinnin that curious sense of your own.
Can you answer? yes I can. but what would be the answer to the answer man?"

Just to say, if you folks want a new subforum for this RPG then say the word and I'll go make one.

What should I call it?

And I'll move these threads there, if you want?
