DIY Concentrated Solar Power?

Speaking of solar....
I recently watched this video; it reminded me just how much power beams down on us daily.
Then it occurred to me that perhaps one could make a smaller version of those large towers that concentrate solar energy and beam it at a working fluid at the top of the tower.
I realized that would be too large of a setup for most people's back yard, so I was wondering about the possibility of using just that mirror to focus on a gas or liquid that would then drive turbines etc etc.
The idea would be to power a single house with it, and all the electronics most people use.
AROAlooks like it has a really good approach, but its still too big to for single home use.
Of course we still need a revolution in battery technology for this to be really feasible, but I was just wondering how much you could possibly get with that mirror?
Thanks
