Honestly I liked the idea of an episode of how the Doctor's stories affect others. Seeing this episode I did not make the connection to Doctor Who fan boards or just fandom in general. Wonder what that says about me?

Worst episode of New Who ever - not even ELO could save it.
Blink was proof that you can have a great Who episode without the Doctor, and School Reunion was a way better example of showing the affect the Doctor has on other lives.
"You ain't gonna get off down the trail a mile or two, and go missing your wife or something, like our last cook done, are you?"
"My wife is in hell, where I sent her. She could make good biscuits, but her behavior was terrible."
At least this episode gave us a break from series 2 Rose. School reunion is ok only if you can' get past the butchering of sarah janes character. Personally i think fear her is the worst of all new Who. That or end of time.
