Such an early war can really change the way things go for the rest of the sim....

My personal hope is that its a stalemate with both powers weaker than before. Leaves me with less to worry about.

I'm not around at the moment. My eight week old is going in the hospital right now with a high fever.

Well, at the least we'll be so beat up that we won't be able to look to external conflicts for some time. People can go about without having to worry about the Romulans or Klingons coming after them.

After a few Dr. visits my wife is scheduled for a c-section tomorrow at 7:30 am. That being said the combat is now progressing and should be resolved this week. The hospital has internet and honestly there is not all that much for me to do there anyway. Hopefully we are done with the majority of combat actions by Friday.

All the best to your wife and yourself Big.

Congratulations on your giant baby, Big. :)

Sorry about the weeks delay, the wifi at the hospital sucked and dropped everything I did. Then I had a newborn (good) and inlaws (bad) in town for the weekend as they attempted to "help" us by cooking lots of crappy farm food and dirtying all my dishes every single day. Anyway, next round out, probably two rounds of this battle left to go then turns can go back...I think.

Two kids has proven a lot more work than one and that combined with the presence of Federal bank regulators at my job for a week basically took me out of the virtual world for a good chunk of time.

Good news, major fleet battle is over as of this morning when I could finally finish it.
