Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
I didn't want to necro the old thread so I made a new one.
According to Rick Sternbach in the comments here: http://drexfiles.wordpress.com/2010/12/ ... -lifeboat/ the delta flyer had four escape pods located:

Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
I want to thank you for properly demonstrating how to create a new thread on an old topic. And also, that would make sense as to being able to fit the compliment of people on the ship in the escape pods allowing for all to escape since it usually had 3 to 4 people running it.

That shuttle...although I think the world shuttle hardly applies to it anymore, had everything. Those pods must just be coffins.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Shoddy design. I can see Tom and Harry arguing over who gets the top Escape Pod.

They were - we saw them in Good Shepard.Teaos wrote:That shuttle...although I think the world shuttle hardly applies to it anymore, had everything. Those pods must just be coffins.

Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
You lay down in them and they are barely big enough to fit in.
Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
You really hope the future comes along soon with possibilities to make it bigger on the inside, it is barely large enough for a human, let alone other aliens who may be larger.

Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
What century do they invent transdimensional ships? I think it was a 31st century time pod in that ENT episode. There ships really are like the TARDIS because they travel time and space and they are bigger on the inside than the outside. They are just better armed.
Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
It was indeed in the 31st century.

Careful there alex - you're extremely close to "no versus", so back away from it.alexmann wrote:What century do they invent transdimensional ships? Does TARDIS even have a weapon? Cause if not, anything with any weapon is technically better armed.

Depends on the model - the Doctor's, as far as I'm aware, isn't armed, but more modern designs have got some very gucci toys. In any event, versus is verbotten, so that line of discussion ends here.Lighthawk wrote:Does TARDIS even have a weapon? Cause if not, anything with any weapon is technically better armed.

Noted, though if I may make a side inquiry, for the sake of clarification...comparing any attributes of any cross universe items counts as versus, regardless of intent or degree of clarity? If for example, I wanted to claim the Death Star was bigger than a type II phaser, that would count?

Re: Delta Flyer Escape Pod Solution
Simple statements are fine, but even there care must be exercised that "an ISD is bigger than a Negh''var" (for example) doesn't turn into "therefore the ISD would shred the Negh'var in one second flat". Likewise, statements such as alex's can very easily become "therefore the 31st Century Feds can beat the Time Lords".Lighthawk wrote:I wanted to claim the Death Star was bigger than a type II phaser, that would count?
