The Taiidan forces deploy expecting to see only Klingon forces and instead are greeted by a massive Federation and Gorn fleet that has come to assist the Klingon's in their defense. The two forces begin to jockey for position.

The Allied force consist of the following.

The Taiidan Force Consist of the Following

The Taiidan's shifted slightly to the left while portions of the allied fleet closed in.

The allied center that had pushed forward opened a heavy assualt on Taiidan group 4 and successfully destroy around 3/4ths of the heavily outnumbered group. The remaining ships are damaged as the group is immobilized for the remainder of the battle.

Allied groups 6 and 8 open fire and accomplish nothing with their pitfully weak amounts of fire as the enemy seems to just shrug off the fire they are putting out.

The ships hanging back in the allied center open a heavy torpedo fire on group 1. They manage to scatter damage across the group, brining down 13 of the powerful battlecruisers and damaging more.

The Taiidan fleet is ordered to open fire on group 1 and 2, however allied manuvers cover group 1 up so instead the commande opens a concentrated fire on group 2 and inflicts heavy losses, destroying nearly 40% of the ships present and leaving the remainder damaged. That group is immobilized for 1 turn as it sorts out its losses.

At the end of the firing more allied ships decloak on each flank with the following composition.

The Taiidan Heavy units moved left while attempting to use their destroyers to move screen to the right.

Allied forces generally closed in looking for the kill.

The Taiidan Heavy units split their fire. Groups 1 and 3 opened a heavy fire at group 20 and destroyed over 25% of the destroyers there, damaging 60% of the remainder.

Group 2 fired on the onrushing Gorn units attempting to stem the advance of nearly 2,000 TurLoc Class attack ships. They managed to destroy 250 of them and damage nearly 500.

In the center the destroyers attempt to slow the onrushing horde of allied ships. However they are badly outnumbered and can do little. They inflict token damage on some of the oncoming allied light units in the center before being swamped in fire.

The allied center returns fire with the light units grouped in the center (1,3,9,14,15,6 and 8) firing at their opposite numbers (4,5,6). At the edge of their beam weapon range they inflict scattered damage on the Taiidan forces, knocking out several dozen ships.

The flanking allied units add to the carnage at torpedo range, with the Akiras and Akrons spitting torpedoes at a tremendous rate, and swamp the Taiidan destroyers in projectiles. Nearly 30% of the enemy force is destroyed while 60% suffers damage.

Finally group 21 opens a dedicated fire on group 5. The 800 plus advanced Federation destroyers rip apart their opposite number and when the lights fade, group 5 is nothing but rubble.

On the other flank group 20 hits back as well while taking massive damage from the heavy units it finds itself engaged with. They launch a desperate attack on group 3 attempting to buy space for their own survival and manage to destroy 20 or more of the cruisers opposite them, while damaging twice that number.

The central mass of allied units continues its torpedo bombardment of the largest enemy ships, knocking out another 10% of the enemy battlecruiser force.
