Ship Strength Calculator Issue

Post by Tsukiyumi »

Is there any way the calculator can be modified further for custom designs? We're running into a wall with the RP in terms of maxing out the torpedo firepower. Is there any way to remove or increase the cap on the number of launchers in the calculator? Maybe even add a few more fields if possible?

I can add more launchers with a little effort, how many would you want? What do you mean by a few more fields?

Hmm. Is this really a Mod issue, or would it be better off in DITL? Given the number of people involved in the RPs I think it might be better off there, to let them have their two-penneth.

Thanks, Ian. That should work. :)

Moved from the Mod forum, as discussed above.

The calculator has a max of 99 per field. Could we up that to triple digit so that we can calculate planetary defense values and starbases?

Oh I know you added three more fields. I was wondering if you could add a triple digit for larger scaling.

We're working on planetary defense values, system defenses and starbases which will have hundreds to thousands of weapons.

I've now increased it to 4 digits so you can really do 1,000s of torps...
