Everett grew up as an only child, with a strictly religious mother and a MACO father. He spent his early years on his grandparents farm, learning to fish and hunt with his grandfather, uncles, and when he was home, his dad. When he was 16, his father was killed in action, while on a classified mission that to this day, nobody knows the details of. At 18 years old, he enlisted as a Private in the MACOs, where he rose up the ranks until he made Gunnery Sergeant. Ev has never been secritive about his attitude regarding officers, most of whom he doensn't think could even give him the correct time of day, and so, it was a great joke for everyone involved when he applied to OCS, never expecting to get in. When he was actually accepted, he was flabbergasted, and tried to back out of it. However, he was unable to do so, and thus ended up graduating OCS as a Second Lieutenant. His assignment aboard the USS Buran is supposed to be his first command as an officer. During this assignment, he covered the extraction of the ships officers and retreat of his men and as a result was captured by Orion forces. He escaped with the help of Xiva, an Orion female. The Buran was crippled while engaged with Romulan forces, and Nelson, even sorely wounded, led him people to find an alternate escape ship. The secured an Orion pirate ship, with which they evac'd most of the crew while the Buran and a skeleton crew stayed behind to cover their retreat. Nelson almost died as a result of his many injuries, and took several months to heal before he was able to return to active duty. For a time he served as a platoon leader with MACO ground forces, before being contacted by now Captain Federov, asking his old comrade to lead the MACO detachment aboard the Aegis.
Personality:
Ev is quite blunt, outspoken, and has little patience with silly or incometent people. He has been reprimanded more than once for talking down to a superior officer, if said officer is doing something wrong or stupid. He is a tough old boot, who's favorite time in the MACO's was as a drill instructer for new recruits, and still holds over many of those attitudes. He usually has a cigar in his mouth, (unually unlit as per shipboard regulations) and has been, more than once, described as being "to G.I.", and jokingly referred to as a "Bionic Marine" due to his high pain threashold. Under his gruff exterior is a spirit that believes wholeheartedly in loyalty to his men. He will never ask another to do something he wouldn't do himself, and during action, will always be the "first man on the field, and the last to leave".
Appearence:
Ev is the posterchild military appearence. During regular duties, his uniform is always pressed and immaculate, and his boots shined to a mirror like sheen. Brian’s parents own and manage “The Percolator”, a popular coffee house on the first floor, and the upstairs club, in what everyone called “The Loft” would host various bands on the weekends. The Percolator was located directly across from the newly constructed Starfleet Academy grounds, so Brian would help serve Cadets as they stayed up late cramming for this test or that or, helping one of the local bands to set up, where he almost accidentally learned how to play the guitar and saxophone.
The Sinclair’s expanded the coffee house slowly but surely, and in addition they opened two more and became quite wealthy, buying a large home on several acres of land just outside the city, but they would spend every evening at the Percolator, making sure stressed out students ate, and making sure equally stressed out professors didn’t imbibe too much caffeine.
On his 18th birthday, he announced to his family (by this time, his parents had two more sons and a daughter), that he’d himself been accepted into Starfleet Academy. He made the long journey across the street and took to the Academy like one born too it.
In his second year, his parents hired a beautiful waitress Brian’s age, and they quickly fell in love. Against the advice of his student advisor, the two were married the following year, and shortly after that, learned she was pregnant. In his fourth year at the academy tragedy occurred. His wife learned she was pregnant with twins, and due to complications, she died in childbirth. However, his two sons survived, whom he named Jonathan and Jeffery. He was about to leave the Academy to raise his sons alone, but his parents and siblings refused to let him give up his dream. They agreed to care for his sons while he explored the galaxy and followed his heart, so after much soul searching, he decided to stay, and in late 2150 he graduated first in his class.
As a result, his first assignment was to Earths Flagship, the NX-01, USS Enterprise. In 2151, he launched with Captain Archer as a relief helmsman. He served with Captain Archer through 2155, when he finally requested a transfer. Brian had a dream to be the Captain of his own Starship, and for his many accomplishments, Captain Archer didn’t believe in time in grade promotions. He was transferred to the Starship Atlantis, a smaller Neptune class ship, and within six weeks was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade, and made the alpha shift conn officer. In 2157 he returned to Earth to attend Starfleets Advanced Tactical Training Course and an Advanced Leadership Course, earning him another promotion to full Lieutenant, and allowing him to serve as a Department Head and a Command Officer. He was then offered the position of Chief Armoury Officer on one of the new Daedalus class starships, an opportunity he couldn’t pass up on his road to the center seat.
Personality:
As far back as anyone can remember, Brian would stare at up into the night skies and dream of seeing what was out there. He has an earnest quality about him that many senior officers find appealing. However, he’s also highly ambitious and driven, thus expects perfection of himself, sometimes unreasonably so. He is prone to black moods however, and is especially sensitive to anything regarding his deceased wife.

T'Varaan was born to what would be considered "working class" parents Solan and T'Pera; her father a hydroponics farmer and her mother a teacher in a young education facility in Sten'fal. Early in her life she had shown intention to try and achieve a position in the Vulcan High Command, of which she applied for early on in her life (38). She eventually, after many years of experience and advanced training, obtained command of the Vahklas class ship Kah'teram, one of the many reactivated ships that were dragged into service to build a strike force against the Andorian Imperial Guard, a battle in which she participated. However, she questioned the validity of the conflict and very quickly left the high command soon after, posted as an attache by the diplomatic corps aboard the Buran. After she was lost, she was chosen as the replacing officer aboard th Aegis in a similar capacity (provisional, can be altered)

T'Varaan is a relatively Vulcan Vulcan. She behaves in a controlled, composed if rather curious way. Some people would claim she exudes an air of an innocent child, with deadpan curiosity about just about everything. T'Varaan, via lack of personal commitment or another reason, she failed the Kohlinar. Every now and then there are slight emotional outbursts, especially in cases of extreme anger or frustration. While she is tiny, she is more than 2 times as strong as a typical burly Human male and is not to be trifled with. She is an accomplished tactician and a capable weapons officer, but she also excels at some scientific persuits. Her failing is piloting, something she has never done well. In other notes, she is a keen Accordian player, a strange penchant for a vulcan. She uses it to release all the feelings she holds in. She has aquired a slightly annoying obsession with dark chocolate, indulging a more material aspect of her life than most Vulcans. But in most other fields, she is very much a Vulcan.

Z'trisk served in the Andorian Science Corps, aboard the ASC Thris, before returning to the Guard - a move which raised a number of eyebrows and antennae among his family. Nonetheless, Devek completed a tour in the Andorian Legions before attending officer training and attaining a staff position aboard the famed ADS Kumari. Finally, Devek's science and soldiering experience led to his current post as tactical officer on the ADS Alt'hris.
Devek is rather stocky of build for an Andorian, a fact which - combined with his closely-trimmed hair - sometimes gives him the appearance of a low blue wall. In personality, he is rather tacit and introspective, but intense when applying himself toward a task. His training in the Legions is evident in his mannerisms and speech.

He went through the Academy with and engaged in a friendly rival with Lt. Malcolm Reed of the NX-01. He was assigned to the construction of the NX-07 Buran and upon completion joined the crew as the modern equivalent of a Plank-Owner. Though he is not the captain, he was the most senior officer to be present during both construction and operational phases.
The Buran was lost while he led a combined security/MACO team in an assault on an Orion base to recover Lieutenant Nelson, the Burans MACO team leader. During the assault, the Buran was attacked by two Romulan vessels. Captain Chinatsu and a skeleton crew stayed behind in an effort to fend off the attackers, away from the away team. Unable to return to their ship, it was actually Lieutenant Nelson who led the now stranded crew to an abandoned Orion hanger, where they proceeded to steal an Orion vessel. Rescuing as many Buran crewman as they could, they returned to Earth with the advanced alien vessel.
The technology gained from the captured Orion ship was quickly integrated in to the Daedalus design then being planned at Starfleet Command.
With the attack and destruction of the USS Buran the conflict between the Earth forces and the Romulans moved into the open and Starfleet found itself in the position of needing more experienced officers than they currently have. Following the obligatory public appearances created by returning an advanced alien Warp 6 ship to Earth, Federov entered an accelerated officer training program for six months and graduated to Lt. Commander. Following graduation, he was assigned to the Intrepid - Class Valient as executive officer. Six months into his tenure, the first officer is killed in a skirmish near the Galorndon Core and Federov is promoted to take his place. Around this time the Daedalus class enters production, with the first batch of three ready a year later. In recognition for his performance, and the need to fill command spots with good combat officers, Federov is assigned as captain of the USS Aegis NCC-101.
Recognizing the true combat conditions on the frontline Federov knew he wanted an experienced crew to join him on the Aegis. Using nearly every favor he had accrued, he managed to contact and retain the surviving USS Buran crew, recalling their ability to perform, and the camaraderie that crew out of their shared hardship.
Personally: He retains some feelings of guilt at the loss of the Buran, often wondering if as Weapons officer he should have remained with the ship, however no counselor considers it a serious problem -- merely a normal part of human nature. He has developed a reputation for doing absolutely everything possible to ensure his crewman survive while still dealing serious damage to the enemy. With this new command, he hopes to ensure that those who sacrificed their lives to save their crew did not die in vain.

Despite his lack of assertiveness in social situations, he has been known in the past to absolutely lose it when faced with an individual of vast stupidity and/or annoyance.
