Turei High Republic Merchant catalog

Post by Reliant121 »

(I'm sorta picking up the Fed info thread in beta and adapting it to my own ideal. I know numerous players would consider it unwise to put details of my vessels publically, but they may think of me as another military power. I simply can't be, I'm merchant power. Openness is my name of the game).

Aurora Class - Frigate

Commission date: Exp. 2415
Unit run: -
Expected: 300 native, unknown export
Purpose: Fleet Frigate

Image

Mass(KT): 1000
Crew: 150
SSI(CR): 2920
Max Warp: 9.99
layout: Forward

Armour: 30cm Lattice construct High Density Armour
Shield: 2,900,000Tj hull-conforming plasma-matrix shield array
Torpedo: 2 single stack chain fed Quantum torpedo launchers
Energy: 8 x 10,000 Tw Plasma Accelerator Cannon (Standard Turei energy cannons)
Manoeuvrability: 6500

The Aurora class, the only vessel of a small civilian designer, was originally designed to replace the aging Kerazym class destroyers within the fleet. The proposed design called for a heavy weapons fit and stronger defences than any Vanguard Flotilla ship ever before. While the Aurora is considerably larger than the majority of destroyers or frigates (roughly half the mass of Turei cruisers), the vessel comes with a strong set of defenes and is a solid modern combatant. The original role will likely be superceded by the more modern High Charity class, an update for the Kerazym class destroyer. Instead, the Aurora will lead the flotilla's exploration fleet. With a maximum speed of warp 9.99, the vessel is considerably faster than the quadrant average and gives the vessel great strategic flexibility.

The ship has a number of years before it comes into service.

High Charity class

Commission date: 2414
Unit run: -, possibility of over 1000 updated hulls
Expected: 2000 (refitted or purpose built)
Purpose: Combat Destroyer

Image

Mass(KT): 800
Crew: 95 (intended for 5 officers, 70 enlisted men, 20 Fleet Military Corp. Marines
SSI(CR): 2876
Max Warp: 9.99
Layout: All-round

Length: 400m
Beam: 170m
Height: 60m
Decks: 7

DITL Armour: 16cm Lattice construct HD armour
DITL Shield: 2,900,000 plasma-matrix shield array
DITL Torpedo: 2 x single stack RFQ
DITL Energy: 120,000tj, 12 x Plasma accelerator cannons/PAC
Manoeuvrability: 8000, quad mount impulse array -_ _- configuration plasma-stream engines

The High Charity class was designed purely to update the aging, obsolete and expensive to maintain Kerazym class destroyers. Conceptually, the High Charity was designed to be a more destructive counterpart to the Aurora. The Aurora features a stronger set of defences, however the weapons strength of the High Charity makes up for this. Additionally, maneuverability has been improved in order to make the vessel as fast and mobile as possible, aiding her activity in fleet combat. The normally brisk pace of Turei ships has been retained.

This vessel will not enter service until 2414, meaning we cannot price her as yet.

Arbiter Class

Commission date: 2408 approx.
Unit run: 100
Expected: 200
Purpose: Exploration cruiser
Image
Mass(KT): 2300
Crew: 600
SSI(CR): 3,582
Max Warp: 9.9
Layout: Forward

DITL Armour: 20cm Lattice construct HD armour
DITL Shield: 3,000,000 plasma-matrix hull conforming shield array
DITL Torpedo: 3 x single stack quantum launcher
DITL Energy: 12 x 10,000tw Plasma Accelerator Cannons
Manoeuvrability: 4,200

The Arbiter class was designed as a light battle vessel, still capable in combat situations but probably too large to be a viable combatant. The Arbiter class is an ideal exploration cruiser due to high speed, solid defences and good size for exploration missions. The vessel was designed with combat abilities to come with the sophisticated high capacity sensor system built into her design. The Arbiter class was soon designated as an advanced exploration ship due to the unusually advanced sensor fit, meaning her only active deployments will be to frontier exploration duties. This vessel will not undergo active combat in the future.

This vessel is in service and under limited construction. We can produce the design in small quantities in our shipyards.

Engine technology systems

The Turei High Republic has long been a leading manufacturer in high capacity warp engines, and we have recently brought them onto the open market. Our engines use a relatively unique internal configuration of compressed plasma, instead of the exposed nacelle capacitor driven warp systems employed by the majority of races. For a certain price, we will make a range of warp engines available. Included in this, will be the design specification for the engines themselves, their control units (with a multiple language packs including High/low Turei, Human: English, Human: Chinese, Vulcan, Klingon, Rihaansu, Cardassian and numerous others can be made) and all necessary regulatory systems.

We will offer the Military Grade Warp engines in three distinct variations.

The MGW-7 engines are rated at warp 9.7, the MGW-7HC are rated at warp 9.75 and will be available for 600,000

The MGW-8 are rated at warp 9.8, the MGW-8HC are rated at warp 9.85 and will be available for 800,000.

The MGW-9 are rated at warp 9.9, The MGW-9HC are rated at warp 9.99.

These prices are negotiable.

The Amazym class will be retiring from service next financial year. Since there have been no offers, we will not be selling them.

Zealot class - PROPOSED (CREDIT TO DREX FILES FOR SHIP MODEL)

Vessel Title: Zealot class
Racial Classification: Battlecruiser
Universal Classification: Battlecruiser

SSI(CR): 12,602
Max Warp: 9.99 (2 x MGW-9 Ultra internal warp engine systems)
Layout: All round
Image
Predicted class run: 500+

DIMENSIONS APPROX.

Length: 640m
Width: 300m
height: 200m
Decks: 15

DITL Armour: 50cm *REDACTED* Armour plating
DITL Shield: *ADJUSTED* +5,000,000Tj plasma matrix hull conforming shield array
DITL Torpedo: *REDACTED* x dualstack (2x4RPS) RFQ launchers
DITL Energy: *REDACTED* x 30,000Tw Plasma accelerator Cannons (Turei design)
Manoeuvrability: 2 x Gravity manipulation impulse engines

Class names set: VFS Zealot
VFS Retribution
VFS Corruption
VFS High Piety
VFS Armageddon

Additional: Following the slow drop off of Turei innovation in the fleet services, and the increased reliance on externally sourced starships, the Vanguard Flotilla begun work on a top grade small battlecruiser, a design that would easily be capable of taking on the universe's best starships. A leaf was taken out of modern Klingon design principles, using what would be considered small (in mass terms) starships with powerful weapon systems and solid defences.

Utilizing weapon systems that are currently in development, as well as shielding and engine technology that is in its beta stages, the Design will represent the pinnacle of Turei technology.

High cost will mean the design will not begin its design process for another 2 years, to allow for some technological advancements due at that time to reduce both cost and development time. We will be looking for sponsors for this vessels creation.

Brightlance class Hunter-Killer - PROPOSED - CREDIT TO...WHOEVER MADE IT

(I realise that the frigate is from homeworld, thats the point)

Vessel Title: Brightlance class
Racial Classification: Frigate
Universal Classification: Destroyer/Frigate
Mass(KT): 600kt
Crew: 85 (ship master 3rd class, 4 officers, 80 enlisted)
SSI(CR): 4957
Max Warp: 9.99
Layout: Frontal

Image

DITL Armour: *REMOVED* Crystalline structure high density armour
DITL Shield: *REMOVED* plasma matrix hull conform shield array
DITL Torpedo: 1 x *REMOVED*rps VLS RFQ launcher
DITL Energy: 1 x *REMOVED* Axial mounted plasma-ion beam cannon, 6 x *REMOVED* PAC turrets (3 dorsal/ventral pairs)
Manoeuvrability: 5 x Vector thrust gravity manipulation engines

Additional entry: The Brightlance was designed as high strength, short range, cruiser killer for home defence operations. The entire design was built around the need to attack and destroy much larger warships on home turf, necessitating a high firepower for a vessel of this size. Hence the use of a single axial cannon, a new and overly powerful weapon intended to crack the shields of all but the largest of vessels, and then to cause massive breaches in armoured hull. It is in many ways like an armour piercing cannon on a tank. The smaller cannons, mounted in dorsal ventral pairs on the rear port/aft/starboard section are designed to allow the ship to fire at targets that have evaded the vessels main gun, such as smaller frigates. These weapons default into a pulse fire mode. Finally a brand new, Vertical launch quantum torpedo system was designed to allow the latest and greatest in Torpedo without the large space usually needed to facilitate this system. The design was made with 2 4rps weapons built together, one firing dorsally and another firing ventrally. This system maximised the ship's firepower while keeping space requirements to a minimum.

A brand new power capacitor system was required to allow the Axial cannon to fire effectively. This system reroutes warp plasma directly to the weapons capacitor mounted just behind the focusing rings that line the cannon's firing chamber. This means that to effectively fight using the weapon, warp engines must not be engaged or charging. A fail safe system called a "capacitor shunt" is included that can force the built up energy into the capacitor to be routed back into the warp drives, effectively acting as both a jump start and an emergency warp thruster. Usually this will accelerate the ship to warp 9, where upon there is a small lag as the warp engines receive power from the core, and the vessel proceeds to its nominal speed. In normal operation, power is drawn in a conventional manner from the warp core to the warp engines. The weapon is designed to fire every 5 seconds. Due to the relatively compact size of the Brightlance, she is ill equipped for long drawn out wars unless there is support from a larger cruisers or supply lines.
