Yeah. That was a good one, there. Kirk stayed behind to make sure the cloud creature was destroyed. I doubt Janeway would do the same with the Array.

Wait a minute. Did Kirk & CO remained on the scene every time to make sure it would work?

Kirk cleans up his shit. That was always something you could rely on in the man.

So resurrect Kirk again and make HIM stay on the other side
But yhea. Methink you could simply put together a special crew with a vessel specifically designed without any supply from Starfleet. Being stranded ain't so bad when it's you who chose it.
Except the fact that it's, you know, painful.
So.. Do you think the Dominion would have attacked immediately the AQ if Bajor had gone nova, or they would have waited like they did?

Assuming the wormhole remains open, you mean?
It depends on whether or not they realise the supernova was deliberately caused.

I'm curious why you think someone HAS to end up stranded for this plan to work. Automate the process, and if the automation fails...send another! What exactly do you think would prevent a repeat attempt if the first failed?SolkaTruesilver wrote:But yhea. Or just send a Klingon. They'll go on a suicide mission into anywhere.

Should the enemy get wind of what you're planning (perhaps by capturing said automated vessel) then a repeat attempt may be prevented by enemy action.Lighthawk wrote:I'm curious why you think someone HAS to end up stranded for this plan to work. Re: Inferno's Light question
If you have the back up already on site and ready to go, I doubt said enemy would have time to capture the first one, figure out it's purpose, and get into place a proper defense. Send through the 1st, wait for the results, and if it doesn't happen within the time table, send the back up.Sionnach Glic wrote:Should the enemy get wind of what you're planning (perhaps by capturing said automated vessel) then a repeat attempt may be prevented by enemy action.Lighthawk wrote:I'm curious why you think someone HAS to end up stranded for this plan to work. I'm thinking they blow up the wormhole, then throw their little Bird of Prey at the nearest big concentration of ships and ram it into a battleship.

That or just sit there and chug a bottle of bloodwine as they stomp on a nuke and crush the GQ entrance.Reliant121 wrote:I'm thinking they blow up the wormhole, then throw their little Bird of Prey at the nearest big concentration of ships and ram it into a battleship.
