Actually, a friend of mine once wrote an "A" paper on that premise. Not sure I buy it, but it was a very good treatise.

I liked the Robot Chicken version of the Smurfs better. This one looks like it's gonna suck worse than a Hoover! Let me see, a magic portal that transports you to a different time and place? Where have I heard that one before? (Enchanted, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, ...)
