Worst Comic book Movie ever

Post by stitch626 »

There have been many movies based off of comics. Some more than once. So whats the worst you've seen.

For me, I'd have to go with Superman. The Chris Reeve one. Haven't seen its sequel, that may be worse.

I concur.
{edit} Oddly enough, it was on television earlier today. On a related note, I'm still trying to figure out why Superman Returns flopped so badly.

The first Hulk movie. It was atrocious.

I'm torn: the George Clooney Batman movie, Swamp Thing, or Tank Girl.

Yeah, even Malcolm MacDowell couldn't help that train wreck.

Swamp Thing was goofy, Batman Forever gave us the Bat-nipples but Tank Girl was an abortion from start to finish.

Swamp Thing gets in because of the huge drop-off between Moore's comic and the movie.

Sorry. But I can't stand it. The plot is ridiculously predictable and he can't lose. After seeing the end, there's no sense of "well, he might lose someone" cause he can just go back in time and fix it.

Question about this "Tank Girl"... is it worth it to watch for the lolz? Or just plain bad?

No, Tank Girl is not one of the "so bad its good," kinda movies. It's one of the so bad you want to lobotomize the portion of your brain holding the memories of it kinda movie.

The Cole Porter scene was mildly amusing, but any value therein was completely eradicated by the presence of Ice-T. The man who made the album Home Invasion, now reduced to playing
a super-soldier kangaroon man,
wasn't so pathetic as to be entertaining - it was so pathetic as to be... pathetic.
