DITL Nexuiz Server?

Post by LaughingCheese »

I have an idea of how we could all play Nexuiz;

Everyone that wants to play should download Hamachi,I can create a network, then I (or someone) could host a lan server and we wouldn't have to worry about opening ports and such.

Anyone interested?

Here's the direct download page for Nexuiz:

:? a) What's a Nexuiz; and b) hamachi is a type of white-meat, rather expensive food fish.

Oh, sorry, I guess I had assumed some of you had read my other thread on Nexuiz. :lol:

Nexuiz is an open source first person shooter, really fun, graphics are obviously a bit dated, but its a lot of fun on insta gib mode with the grappling hook mutator.

Hamachi is a program that allows you to easily setup a VPN easily. It just makes hosting a game really easy, as compared to fiddling with setting up a dedicated server.

BTW, get the unmanaged version, that's what I have, and I'm not sure if there would be version conflicts, I haven't researched the other one.
