For once, I'm actually optimistic.

Re: Predators
Here's a neat interview with Adrien Brody, and the audio version.
I really think this will be great.
I've been wrong before, but like I said, the group of people they have on this is serious.

First review I saw was 2 out of 5 stars but then again this is a very niche movie.

Re: Predators
I thought it was pretty good. Probably the best since the first film.

Crap...crap...and crap.
It was like a piss poor relaunch of the original in some ways.

I think you're right on that score - too much use of original movie ideas for my likingMark wrote:Crap...crap...and crap.

Re: Predators
Well, lets see.
The characters are basically dropped on a "big game preserve" with only they weapons they're carrying and the clothes on their backs.
They are in an identical setting as a movie.
There is another "Big Guy" with a medigun.
The weapons the characters are equipped with make no friggin sense from a practical point of view considering what they were supposed to be.
And Adrian Brody's performance showed he was trying too hard to be a "tough guy" action star. He didn't pull it off for shit, IMO.
Seriously, I regret spending $10 bucks to see in theaters.

Ah, I see.
I'll probably wait to buy it in the 5$ DVD bin in a few months then...
