Hey, we've actually gone through the gate now!

ROFL. I think we can safely assume you've been released...but we COULD do a nice flashback post though

I'll try and get a narration up today with our arrival. Remember, this world is similar to colonial america, in the late 1700's. Keep that in mind regarding people we encounter, weapons and gear available, and backdrop settings.

My character is native american... he'd sure love that :p
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Did the chair force just try to order us to surrender arms already? Did he not read who he brought with him...? Marines... not allowed to surrender without permission from theater command... fight to the last... Is this ringing a bell? :bangwall:

Actually....the fly boy just told the CIA guy (who's the farthest out in front) to lay down his P90. I was kind of assuming we were gonna use this chance to go hand to hand, or single Zat gun blasts.

Now now....don't shoot at Mr. Crockett. He killed him a bear when he was only three after all.

Like the man said, if they wanted the team dead, then they would have shot from behind cover. But, frontiersmen respect a bit of "rough and tumble" diplomacy. Go with it.

Yeah, how about you go fist to fist with him and I'll kill them all if/when they start shooting.

So six people with single shot zats are now taking on two dozen people with muskets? Wow, thank god this is fiction or we'd be in deep shit.

Actually, IIRC there are eight of us. :P

But seriously, I set it up with them holding weapons pointed but not aimed for that very reason. The one time I fired a powder rifle I was a boy scout going for a merit badge. I'd aced rifle and shotgun shooting, but I couldn't hit a fucking thing with that powder rifle they'd given me.

Only one of two merit badges I'd ever failed.

The other was basket weaving. :madashell:
