Do they all use Katana's like everyone else seems to?

Not this time  Surprisingly it looked to me like an english broadsword or even possibly a bastard (hand and a half) sword. Of course, Mitchell WAS fighting an armored knight from Camalot

By the way, I'd like to take a minute to thank all you guys who turned me onto Stargate. WAY back when, I'd found SG1 seasons 1-3 at a used video store for between $10 - $15 each and asked the forum community if it was worth it. A resounding yes sent me back to the store and picked them up. They've been more fun for me than Voyager and Enterprise put together, and HALF of TNG. Its nice to not always watch humanity act like a pack of pacifistic blubbering idiots.

How did he end up there? More importantly why would he want to? It's a silly place.

Honestly, I didn't find the whole "Camelot" thing any more silly than the Asgard using holograms to pretend to be Norse gods. Especially since it only comes up in a couple of episodes.

Fair enough.

Like me with John Cusack.

Maybe because the whole point of the show was about things from many thousands of years ago... and King Arthur is relatively new by comparison.

haha I got the reference. :D

The Camalot thing was a little annoying. Mainly because there's still a whole host of other mythologies they could have used. They used Zepakta or whoever the guy in the crossover RP was from Mayan mythology but nothing else. They used Queztlquatle from Aztec but nothing else either. Then there are the Naga / Serpent people that they coulda used. Why dive into English mythology when there's so much more untapped is beyond me.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.
