If you could be one other race...

Post by Sionnach Glic »

Okay, simple enough.
One day as you get home, you notice Q sitting in your armchair. He offers to send you to the Trek universe, but with one condition. You can't be human.
Which species do you become? And why?
And things like Q, the Organians, and any other super-race can't be chosen.

Tellarite, I can be as argumentive and combative as I want and people will just assume that I'm living up to a cultural norm and won't push the bullshit "golden mean" fallacy on me.

Romulan. Sneaky and resourseful.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Cardassian. Smart, resourceful, and tough.

Well, if I had to choose a Star Trek based species then Betazoid because empathic abilities are cool. Assuming your not a consular that's just there to look pretty.

A Founder. The ability to shapeshift, and unilaterally dominate whole races, whilst being revered by some, as a living deity

I have to second the Founders--not just shapeshifting but fluidity, I think it would be nice combo.
I know Hamlet, and what he said with irony I say with conviction. "What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty. In form, in moving, how express and admirable. In action, how like an angel. In apprehension, how like a god!"

Denobulan. Did anyone see how Phlox' marriage(s) worked? Talk about having your cake and eating it too...

Is a Founder considered a super race? If not, then them. If that is, then we'll go with Klingon.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

A Brikar. People would go out of there way to avoid pi$$ing me off.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.
