The Moto is for our ship not the site. And ships have motos.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

People use Latin because it got everywhere, most Eurpean languages have some elements of Latin in them.
And I go for Siegfried Sasoon's famous line, I just like it and think it's apropriate given our crew complement.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"

It seems you are correct, I remember reading it first in Sasoon's poem, so I tend to think he came up with it first. :)

I got an idea, as an homage to YOU as our XO -
"Ours is not to wonder why, ours is but to do and die."

Maybe Teaos should bump the crew numbers up to 600 then.

Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Nah, we've got about-what?-a dozen named characters?
So that leaves 488 redshirts we can kill off easily. :P

Maybe the Redshirts should take that as their motto!
