Wait a second, why are we only transmitting audio? If we transmit visual as well, we should be able to keep an eye on each others bridges for suspicious activity.
I don't know if that would work, seven ships on one screen, but we can try it...

What, you've never heard of a split-screen system?

Though I doubt it'll reaveal much. Our ships all have an enormous amount of computing power. Any reasonably skilled computer expert would be able to have the computer transmit a false image of the real crew and an undamaged bridge.

In any case, I suppose it can't hurt.

I think its a useless idea if you hope to look for the pirates. How hard would it be to clean up a bit and replicate some uniforms? Apparently, they are familiar enough with our systems to compatantly man Starfleet ships, so they certainly have the skill to pose as the crew.

Good point Mark -begins transmitting visual- but if we combine visual transmission with the constant sensor scans, as well as the globe formation, we should be able to monitor things more effectively.

The Captain of the USS Monroe activates the screen of his own bridge, "Everyone should put their bridge on the view screen. Unless of course you're buying for time to hurry up and clean up."

Sorry it took so long to put it out, the blackout seems to have shorted a couple systems out, thank goodness my sensors didn't go out...

I suppose this idea is better than nothing, but I suspect that the pirates will be able to circumvent it.

fairly easily, heck with enough time, they could pose as a starfleet captain from their own Bridge

well, now that we can see each other, we can scan the official files for each of us, see if the picture matches...maybe question each other about some of the details from our lives.
