Dark Heresy: OOC Discussion/Dice Rolls...etc.
OK, Dark Heresy will be arriving at my location around the beginning of July and I'm curious if theres any interest in having a full on, dice rolling, geek fest game here. Yeah, I know we already have a stagnant WH40K RPG (Rochey!) but if there's anyone interested then I can get you the required materials, along with a random character generator and web based dice roller.
The specific scenarios we'd be doing would be found in the Purge the Unclean expansion.
For those not in the know, Dark Heresy is the WH40K PnP RPG that follows a group of novice Inquisition lackeys around. So boarding Space Hulks, hunting heretics and exterminating mutants would be the order of the day.
Edit: I'll leave this open for a couple weeks for people to sign up. I'll be camping the first weekend in July, so nothings going to kick off till then. In the mean time here's some resources for the game:
Character generator. You can select a random character or craft your own.
A decent online dice roller. Will allow you to post the results via email or blog.
This one allows you to simply post a link.
If anyone needs access to the core rulebook, shoot me a PM.

I'd be in. Interestingly, some Canuck former NCO sent me a PDF of the rules already...

Sounds interesting. Now that the schools have closed for the summer, I've damn all to be doing for the next few months. Count me in.

And if I play a PC as well then we have the bare minimum I think. Excellent!

If no one has any objections (not sure who moderates what forum) then I'll just turn this into a general sign in and info thread for the game.

Go for it. Want me to change the title to reflect that?

I'll take a peek in the books and see if there's a class for that. The expansions added new classes but the only one I really remember close to that is the Assassin.Tyyr wrote:I've always wanted to play an Adepta Sororitas trooper-ette. Nuns with guns... mmmm....

Yup, The Inquisitors Handbook has Adepta Sororitas as a class. Got some decent starting gear, las pistol, flail/club and carapace armour.Cpl Kendall wrote:I'll take a peek in the books and see if there's a class for that. I don't suppose there's room for an Assassin?
