Good news for the Enterprise!

Post by Lazar »

According to TrekMovie, Simon and Schuster, along with Haynes (maker of automotive manuals), will be releasing an illustrated tech manual for the new Enterprise next year. I want cutaways, dammit!

Whoo hoo!
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Lol, have you seen Brend's avatar on SCN now?

He's taking this awfully personally.

Were you on his site at the time or recently? If so your cookie probably hadn't expired.

I'm still waiting for the TOS gestapo to come around and burn all the DVD's I have and delete all the old connie files I have on my computer.

...oh wait, no ones going to do that. The old connie is still alive and every bit as valid as she was the first time we saw her.

Sweet. We haven't seen a tech manual type book come out in years. The DS9 was the last, right? And that was somewhat flawed.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

That has the makings of a hilarious fanfic, a parody of all the "their raping my childhood!" mooks.

"On your knees! NOW!" Gun pressed to the back of fan's head.

Fan, "Oh god, oh no... don't do it!" Man in black #2 on the other side of the room is slowly roasting fan's TOS DVD's and TMP through ST:VI DVD's with a lighter. "Oh by Spock's brain burn 3, burn 5 but not Wrath!"

MIB #1 pistol whip's fan. "Now say it!"

"No!"

MIB #2 snaps fan's NCC-1701 Enterprise model over his knee.

"SAY IT!"

Fan whimpers, "No!"

MIB #2 starts to mess with fan's computer. "Hey Bob, there's an awful lot of poorly drawn Orion and Andorian girl porn on here."

MIB #1, "Forget that, Orion's are still canon, just take out the stuff with that old shitty Enterprise." Fan whimpers, MIB #1 puts the gun back to his head. "SAY IT!"

Fan starts to sob. "The Enterprise is 725 meters long..." sniff. "JJ Abrams Trek is the only one there is," whimper. "Chris Pine is the only Kirk."

MIB's start to leave. "Don't forget it, talk about that shitty little 1960's 300 meter piece of shit and we'll come back for Generations and maybe the whole TNG set."

Fan starts to sob and sits in the corner clutching a plush tribble. "The Connie is 300 meters... the Connie is 300 meters...."
