For certain people (meaning, the older folk), you're right.
But for most, my friends, people I work with, they'd love nothing more, but there's always that pesky thing called "life" that gets in the way.
Also, access to a good school is sometimes expensive, and most of my friends have kids, which takes up a lot of their time.
Taking up a new language once you've started a family is tough.
You guys really should have let them secede, then glassed them.
Well, considering I was born and raised as a French-Canadian (a Quebecker, even), I'd rather they didn't...
I do love living here, I just hate the absence of movies presented in their original English versions... :P

So when the people are talking, they mouth in English but French comes out? Kind of like the English versions of the Godzilla movies?

Exactly, except that the words follow the lip movements a bit more closely then the old Godzilla movies, or the Chinese Kung-Fu movies...

Oh really. You have school that day. I won't have classes to go to till later. All I have to do is get Sarah up here. Which wouldn't be too hard considering I've gone with only three hours of sleep before.

Basically, you are a minor and therefore have no say. I am an adult and can decide for myself. :P

Mom is mom and likes me better, so even if I can't veto it, mom will, because it's unfair to me, and I am HER child, and she wants everything to be fair for me, so one or the other will happen. :P

Hey Nick, I can see it anytime I want between classes on Tuesday or Thurday. And I don't have to take you to see it on Saturday. Remember that.

I'm going on the 12th; hopefully it won't be as crowded. I never go to opening night for movies.

The reason I was going to bring you on Saturday as because dad can't.
And mom can't make me if I'm too sick to drive. :P

If I want to, I can take the bus to the premeer. And back. And you can't go for the simple fact that if you go, Bob and sis have to go. And neither of those are happening at midnight.
And you have school that day.

Now end this. This is not where we should argue about this.
