It said at trekmovie.com that Wednesday is the traditional day for movie openings in France. :?

Apparently that group specializes in movie trailers.

"Freedom Fighters"? Watch out, they're terrorists!

Seriously, that song is awesome. :)

I wonder what the music for the movie is going to be. Is it going to be a variation on the well known Star Trek theme, or something completely different?

I know that it's going to incorporate the Alexander Courage theme to some extent.

November 1, 2007: Star Trek XI composer Michael Giacchino has confirmed that he will be retaining the original series theme for the upcoming movie.
From here. Giacchino also does the music for Lost, which is great stuff. I'm sure it will be amazing.

this movie is looking fairly good now *knock on wood*
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

http://www.quantummechanix.com/Star_Trek.html Here's some good shots of a replica of the studio model, including a video. My only real complaint is: It's too blue. That and it seems to short, but it may look different on screen.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't glow that bright in the movie.
