Try using Paint - set the image to the correct size, then reduce the size of the sheet to match. You can then select that file as your av.

You can use picresize.com, but just be careful to get it under the 11-12 kB file size limit. For some reason, when I tried to create my current avatar, the resized image was like 30 kB, so I had to go through some crazy gymnastics to make the file small enough.

Alternatively, Photobucket comes with an editing system that allows you to re-size pictures. It's how I make all my avatars.

When do I get MY commendation?

Just as soon as you do something commendable. Considering most long timers here don't have any, earning one would be a worthy goal.

No joke. None of the mods even have one except Teaos for his idea to create the Daystrom RP.

It's that time of the year again and we now have some New Years honours for the forum members. First, we have and award of 'The Daystrom Award' for BigJKU316 for his work in creating the ST SIM. This sim has now been running for over a year now which is great news. Our second award this year is a joint award for BigJKU316 and Lt. Staplic for their efforts in refining and perfecting, as well as managing the SIM games. For this they both earn the 'Cochrane Medal of Excellence'.

Congratulations to all our award winners today, keep up the good work.
