I'm curious, why is the depression of the guns limited to 45 degrees? Given the way it's mounted you could probably depress them a full 90 degrees. I know it might seem excessive, but when a helicopter like craft starts to maneuver a roll or pitch maneuver can move even a distant target significantly off line. Allowing the gun to track farther will enable it to keep engaging a target even if the Aazat is turning and burning.

I don't really remember to be honest. Probably designed the cannon so it looked right and then looked at how much it could actually depress.

Nice design, has a certain meanness about it.
