they were present...In the first two seasons it appeared that that's what they were doing was making contact with the first members, the problem was that they mentioned them in passing, the conflict rotated about some other point, and then that species was done and we never saw them again.

The Axanar are an example, the plot rotated around the speces that was harvesting some hormone from them, only at the end did the crew find out that they were the Axanar...then we never saw them again...

the other thing I noticed about that episode...did anyone notice Hoshi putting that pet slug down on the nearby planet? You'd've thought that by the 22nd Century they would have been alot wiser about the problems migrating species into new areas like that.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

More like "why the fuck". As in "why the fuck is she even on the bloody ship?"

So we'd have another hot chick to look at, of course.

An admirable goal, to be sure, but only inasmuch as they don't try to make into something crazy... like a character...

Well, there was one episode where she ran around the ship naked. Not sure if she actualy had sex, though.

Hoshi got laid on Risa. She was the only one who did, actually.
