:: gets up early and looks around ::

Oh my! Tsu!

:: pulls out disruptor, looks carefully at Tsu's body ::

Ok, no blood. No visible wounds. That leaves poison or strangulation.

:: looks at Tsu's eyes ::

Ok, asphyxiation. Not too hard for a Founder to do either.

Everyone up!

Did you never learn to curse in Romulan?

I've heard it said a few times but never bothered to look it up. I don't curse... though if I did, this would be the time. Don't know about him.

Now you ask what happened? Here's what happened.
Those slimy blobs of goo killed him! That's what happened!

:: sighs ::

Based on the fact that he has no visible wounds and he has petechial hemorrhaging, I'd say he died from asphyxiation. Most likely from extreme constriction of the chest.

I'm curious. Why him? Did they just seize on the oppertunity that presented itself with him on guard duty, or was their a deeper motive? What do we really know about the desceased?

Well, he's Romulan. He has been a Centurion for over six years.

I think this was an attack of opportunity, but I'm not a Founder; I have no idea what goes on in those despicable beings' heads.

I hate this, I ask him to go on duty for the night watch, and in the same breath condemn him to this, do we know how they got him, was it quick?

We can't say for sure.

As for the motive, I suggest simple opertunism. They saw him wandering around on his own, and they struck. It's what I would have done in their place, and the most logical choice.

Please don't mention logic.

:: looks at Nick ::

And for the last time... he was asphyxiated, most likely by chest constriction.

:: looks at Mark ::

You can dispose of the body if no one objects; I've learned everything I can from it.

As you wish. I would advise everybody to stand clear.

Well, with that done we need to make a decision.
There are only five of us left now. We know there's at least one Founder, but to err on the side of caution I think we should assume there is two, as I've heard reports of them working in pairs before. If one more of us is killed tonight, the Romulans would no longer have the advantage of numbers against the Founders. Meaning a confrontation would only get us killed. As such, we need to make a choice: decide which of us is a Founder, and then execute them. It is the only way we will survive.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking it.

Do we have any information that could help us begin to determine whom is in fact not a Romulan?

I believe that all we have at the moment is circumstantial evidence. And our own personality judgement.

Actually Mark, my evidence is quite concrete. Being a trained scientist, I tested Rochey last night, and he is definitely a Romulan.
