He probably muses to himself, "I thought war was good for the economy."
"I have nothing to say, I am saying it, and that is poetry."

not usually, every major war was followed by a depression because the huge output required to fight the war is over. Rebuilding/simple consumer purchases just can't match that kind of output and the economy falls until the populas can readjust.

Uh, there was a depression after WWII??? Or Korea?? Or Vietnam???

I'm being serious. I'm only a moderate student of history, so if there were, I really hadn't heard about them.

yes there was.

As a kind of punctuating mark for the ability of War to crate an economic boom, the Great Depression in the US, while on it's way to recover thanks to the New Deal, was taken all the way back up by WWII, the boom to the economy from the production needed to out fit the US/British and after a while Russian armies increased the economy rapidly.

Korea, and Vietnam did have depressions just not as big because they weren't total wars like say the Civil War, WWI, and WWII

it is,
it's also a recognized cyber nation
it is recognized through e-mail service at the UN

it has the larges cyber army known to man.

It's the ground work for our eventual "showy" version of the world take over, that way every one will know we control them rather than now where they think their still acting of free will. :happydevil:

War is good for businesses. War is not good for the economy. A company that makes, say, aircraft will be doing great during a war, because more aircraft will be needed to bomb the bad guys. That doesn't mean the economy will be well off.
