To bad we couldn't "find" it and put it to work for us in one of the RPs.............................or COULD we?????

someone PM Teaos, the Dominion captured it during the war, the Pegasus isn't out yet!

That's a likely possibility.
My view is that ENT was saving it for a future episode. Like maybe meeting with the makers and some how getting replicator technology (I think they had that in TOS but you couldn't see it materialize like it was behind a shield).
