Ultimate Timeline, Part I: Beginning to 1 BC

Post by Varthikes »

Wasn't sure if this should go here, in the Art Forum, or in the Recreation Forum, but here it is:

As I mentioned sometime ago in the "Everything Else" Forum, I was putting together an ultimate timeline, a compilation of events from various different Universes: Star Trek, Star Wars (only what pertains directly to the movies), FarScape, Babylon 5, Stargate, real world, bits from my Universe, and Transformers (based only on the recent live action movie).

Here is the first part. From the Beginning of Time to 1 BC

Please note: Presented in this timeline is a connection between Star Wars and Stargate Universes only. All others are happening parallel to each other.

Key:

Real World
Star Trek source 1, source 2, with a little help from DITL
Babylon 5 source
Stargate source
Star Wars source1, Source2
Galaxy Voyagers (My Universe)
FarScape source
Transformers

Choosing a species no one had met before, they find one primitive, barely clothed, far removed on the galaxy's outer spiral. They bring a sample of the species back with them and accelerated their evolution with generous alterations, creating the Sebacean race. The Sebaceans became the Eidelons' trusted acolytes. Thus, the creation of the Peacekeepers. It is theorized that the Sebaceans' fore-bearers were Humans. (PKW)

c. 22,000 BC
-- Petty squabbling among the Goa'uld eventually give way to new leadership by Apep, physically superior to the son of Atok, who brutally kills the warlord in public fashion in full view of the other Goa'uld. Apep divides Atok's forces equally among the strongest and solicits their stewardship. To his underlords, Apep uses them to secure the peace, ensuring that no one among them becomes too powerful.

-- Apep decrees his underlords as his brothers and sisters in rulership, although he remains firmly in control. The underlords -- Ra, Nut, Thoth and their servants Osiris, Isis, and Bastet -- pledge their loyalty and, for a time, a single united leadership rules the Goa'uld. Thus united, the symbiotes sweep through the galaxy like a plague. Their numbers swell and the Unas are nearly wiped out -- again too many larval Goa'uld are bred. In addition, the life of the Goa'uld is significantly lengthened, creating even more of a population problem. Apep continues the ancient practice of ritual cannibalism.

c. 18,000 BC
-- With large portions of the stargate network mapped, vast fleets at their disposal, and no sign of the Ancients, the Goa'uld begin to carve up their spoils amongst themselves.

-- Thoth reworks Ancient technology and creates the first sarcophagus. The device is primitive but powerful, able to sustain an Unas host for several generations. The device, however, introduces naquadah to the larva's bloodstream and the Goa'uld queens are unable to prevent its transference to future larva.

c. 17,800 BC
-- Apep begins to falter as leader of the Goa'uld and demonstrates signs of madness. Anubis is found at Apep's side, becoming the ruler's most trusted and rewarded adviser. His original sons and daughters, including Ra, look on as Anubis is favored like no other.

c. 17,500 BC
-- Anubis solicits from Apep the secret location of a great cache of Ancients' weapons. Anubis learns the location by forcibly exposing Apep to Thoth's sarcophagus, driving the Goa'uld further from sanity.

-- Determined to rule the Goa'uld, Anubis makes his bid for power, utilizing a super weapon, which harnasses enormous amounts of power. Before the other Goa'uld, he forcibly removes Apep's symbiote and devours it, declaring himself Emperor. Betrayed, the other Goa'uld band their forces together to defeat Anubis. The battles rage for a hundred years. Entire star systems are destroyed and legions of Unas fall in the crossfire. The Goa'uld themselves are nearly decimated, but eventually defeat Anubis and destroy his forces.

c. 17,400 BC
-- Ra institutes himself as ruler of the Goa'uld, again taking on the leadership structure originally formed by Apep. Thoth is also banished for his part, although his understudy, Telchak remains. Bastet is rewarded for her help against Anubis. Osiris and Isis join the ranks of the Goa'uld underlords as well, and Anubis' super weapon is dismantled. Ra takes the six crystals that power the device and divides them amongst the remaining loyal Goa'uld, knowing that his species petty bickering would ensure that the weapon is never used again. (SG1: "Full Circle")

17,000 BC
-- A race of Cybertronians, known as the "Seven Primes", search for sources of Energon, harvested from stars' energy to power Cybertron's AllSpark and their lifeblood. The Primes agree, however, that stars of life-bearing worlds would be spared. (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)
-- Earth:
--- In defiance of the agreement, one Prime, thereafter dubbed "The Fallen", and JetFire arrive and construct a Solar Harvester. The other Primes sacrifice their bodies in order to hide the Matrix of Leadership--the key that powers the Harvester--in a tomb made of their own bodies. Unable to power the Harvester, Fallen leaves Earth, but leaving JetFire. The Harvester will eventually be hidden within a Pyramid.

c. 16,000 BC
-- Ra appoints a new hierarchy of rulers to aid in governing. By once again dividing the spoils of several millennia of conquest, Ra creates a cadre of System Lords. Membership to the body is by vote of existing members and affords many benefits, including access to the Unas hosts in order to maintain armies. This power structure will last up to the 21st Century.

-- Ra anoints Egeria his queen. Ra will take other queens throughout his long rule, including Hathor.

-- Osiris, Isis, Tiamat, and Yu join the ranks of the System Lords. Minor underlords include Ba'al, Heru'ur, and Setesh.

-- Cybertron:
--- Megatron comes to desire the All Spark's power for himself. He secretly forms an army of his own, and a planet-wide civil war soon erupts for control of the All Spark. The war culminates in the Battle of Tyger Pax: while the main Autobots hold the Decepticons back at Simfur, a smaller team led by Bumblebee buys those in Tyger Pax the time they need to launch the All Spark into a wormhole in space. Bumblebee is damaged in the battle, losing the ability to speak. (Transformers)

--- Megatron leaves Cybertron to search for the All Spark.

c. 14,000 BC
-- Naquadah, foundation of Ancient and Goa'uld tech, is discovered in small quantities. -- An Ancient warship looses communication and shields when the Wraith attack. Although the engines are damaged, they manage to escape into space. They realize, however, that their main drive is leaking deadly radiation and are forced to abandon ship. The ship is left to drift in a 200-year elliptical orbit around a dwarf star. (SGA: "Travelers")

-- The Ancients begin hiding ZPMs throughout the galaxy, including Dagan, where the Sudarian worship the Ancients. Image
Atlantis under siege

-- Doctor Elizabeth Weir from an alternate future is rescued from the Lantean ocean after traveling back in time in a modified Puddle Jumper just as preparations are being made to evacuate to Earth. She befriends Janus, who programs Atlantis to rise if the shield fails, blocks all but the Earth gate from making contact with Atlantis, and makes alterations so that, instead of using the multiple remaining ZPMs in parallel, the city uses the remaining ZPMs sequentially. Weir is put into cryogenic sleep, programmed to be awoken when an active ZPM becomes drained so she can exchange them. (SGA: "BIS")

I've locked the duplicate to concentrate all replies in this thread.

Regarding the actual timeline, it'd be a good idea if you changed the colour for B5 - it's very hard to read.

Wow that is far more impressive and detailed than I thought it would be.

I would however add a thank you note at the bottom to any individual or sorces of information you used while putting this together.

Thank you. :)

I made B5 a lighter color and provided links to my sources.

I'm also wondering if I should divide this part into two sections. It looks kind of too long.

After that, 1101 to 1900

Then, I'll go by century.

I didn't do all of this in one sitting, of course. It took a few days. :D

I just found a better source for Star Trek, and added to the timeline.

I also included some stuff about the Whale Probe, based on the book Probe.

All additions are in bold. :)

Hey, I've got TAS up there, too.

And, I'm only including certain "non-canon" stuff. Probe and the two Eugenics Wars novels. The former because it gives some important details regard the Probe, the latter because, well, it's the Eugenics Wars--more of Khan's story.
