Awesome scenes. I love Imperial ship designs. There is no doubt as to their reason for being when you see one. You can't mistake an Imperial battleship for anything other than what it is.

Now you've got it!

Gotta love those Emperor classes. Loads of guns, waves of fighters and bombers, and a general aura of "we're gonna kick ass".

Yep. I love it because it does two things.

1) looks bad-ass
2) and looks ridiculous

You just can't get any better than a flying cathedral.

Exactly. Its so laughable its amazing. If Westminster abbey lifted off the ground and began blowing up the city, i would both laugh, cry and cheer.

And people say trek have stupid ship designs sometimes...
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

That's actually part of the idea. Those designs are meant to serve not only as instruments of war, but at the same time as shrines to the Emperor.

The fact that he never actually wanted to be worshipped is sort of beside the point...

true. And there is something rather imposing about a quartet of cathedrals in space.
