The epsilon class cruiser is the pinnacle of cost effectiveness combined with capable weapons, durable armour and simple construction. The 5 high energy plasma stream cannons (3 single barrel turrets, 1 double turret) provide enough firepower to take on others cruisers and large warships without making the cost too high. The hull is constructed from a durable, flexible and easy to use Duranium alloy capable of protecting the ship effectively without pushing the production credits into the red. Fighters will have a hard time getting past the 12 gattling laser turrets (2 twin mounts, 8 single mounts) and this armament is effective at dealing with Frigates and Destroyers. The design is equipped with the "Yar 85 Professional" VI, a rugged, robust computer system rated at 50 billion calculations per second. Her 5 plasma stream engines manage a top speed of 2,500 km/s, high for a cruiser of 600 metres long. The Slipstream core is rated at Total mass elimination, one of the few Terran ships capable of this level of mass manipulation.

As with most plasma stream engines, a small power up sequence is required to activate. An audio file has been recorded to give the impression of the distinctive sound made by Terran plasma stream engines.
