I live at home and go to a commuter college (uni), so I can post throughout the school year, if not at all times. I have posted from the campus, too.

I love the fact that I'm basically getting paid to surf the DITL forums. How cool is that? The best part? They feel I have to much to do during the day and are trying to take some of the load off me, because they see me stuck in front of my computer all day. I should be a ferengi this scam is so good.

Nope, I'm the receptionist at Land Rover, and admin asst to the Sales Manager for Jaguar, Porsche, and Land Rover. So, unless we sell, I really have nothing to do. Jag and Land Rover averaging about 8 cars a month each, and Porsche about 6. I just wait for someone to walk in or for the phone to ring

Really? I'd have expected that to increase at the cost of buying.

Without getting into boring detail, leasing banks have been forced to increase residuals to the point at which nobody buys their leased vehicles at the end of term. This means that the banks all have begun to own cars at residual values which are far higher than actual retail value. To an extent, there is insurance to cover what the banks have to write off when they sell their off-lease vehicles; but it has gotten to such a point that this insurance has become as expensive as the write-offs themselves. Chrysler has halted leasing altogether; Ford and GM have made their lease programs miserable enough to make people stay away from them; and Nissan and Toyota are expected to follow suit soon.
