So bring on the haters. But guess what: Terry Farrell as Jadzia. Completely hated the character, her acting, the Klingon interaction, etc. Everything about her came off as phony. After watching some DS9 the past few days, it's bugging me more than ever.

I don't think she was as hot as everyone made her out to be but I have nothing against the character.

I found Farrell's acting to be attrocious at times, and dear lord, the Klingon honor bullshit got way too much. The wedding episode was the ultimate in over the top schmaltz on her part. The Path to Calhaya (sp?) was great to watch, but every scene with her felt so damn fake.

She didn't annoy me too much, but I have to admit her acting was "wooden" most of the time.

i thought she was at least superior to beverly crusher. her acting was even worse, in my opinion. i especially disapprove of her "fighting" to save lieutenant yar's life (which consists of waving a tricorder around and pronouncing her dead).

Ah! But the powers that be WANTED her dead. Crusher was under no obligation, therefore, to save her. ;)

Terry Farrell is much better in 'Becker' (IMO). I do find her attractive (I like tall brunettes, so sue me...). I thought she was better than Ezri.

Hard to be the first one playing a Trill that's supposed to have several stored personalities I guess...

I didn't mind her too much. Not great, but not terrible either.

I didn't care for Terry Farrell's acting that much, either, but I blame it in part on the writing. It seems like she was forced too much to show the whole I'm-a-Trill-look-at-all-my-past-lives thing, which left no time or material to develop the actual character of Jadzia enough. I.e., when she was preparing to marry Worf, she had all of Curzon's knowledge to rely on, rather than using the arc to really show something new about Jadzia.

Ezri was far better. She had a far better look and character.

I liked her potential, I would have liked to see her develop. It's a shame she didn't get an extra season or two.
