I found something a little better. I can use it for smuggling or I could just modify this into a tanker.

An Outer Rim Republic world is besieged by pirates/nasties and sends a general call for help? The regular Republic forces being prevented from assisting by red tape/pay offs.

I had thought of a couple too. Kendall - what about those of us who aren't affiliated with the Republic? Is this to be an offer to hire help?

Offer to hire, yeah. There's no reason why a Republic officer couldn't take it on his to help though, the Republic's pretty screwed up at this point right?

Is anyone playing a Republic character though?
