Far as Droopy goes he's my pal from SWG. I sent him a PM telling him he needs to post his char's bio in here. Though I think a bothan char might not be the best choice :P
Even more so with the ISB on board. Though, he wouldn't have to worry about keeping up for very long... :happydevil: :raygun1:

Name: Jair Dax
Age: Unknown (apparently middle aged)
Race: Human
Class: Fallen Jedi / Bounty Hunter
Hair: Jet Black
Eyes: Steel Grey (with golden tones sometimes visible)
Height: 5'11
Weight: 180 lbs

Background

Jair was brought to the acadamy after being found at an orphanage on Coursant. During his early training as a child and youth the only thing he excelled at lightsaber combat, in which early on, he studied the rare art of the two blade fighting (twin lightsabers). His powers with the Force were found to be lacking, a fact he was never able to accept. His career as a Jedi nearly came to an abrupt halt when no Master wanted to claim him as a Padawan, thus he was sent to Yavin to "serve the force", a position he greatly resented. Master Alara Quill, a young Jedi Master, after just losing her previous Padawan in a mysterious accident, sought out the teenager and asked him to join her, an oppertunity he accepted. They were together for many years, and fought in many battles in the Clone Wars. At some point, the older woman fell in love with him and began a physical relationship with the young Padawan. Jair never loved her in return, but the lust she aroused in him began his first steps down the dark path, and he became very possessive, looking at her as his property. On a covert mission to Corillia, Master Quill was ambushed and killed by an orginized crime syndicate. Jair, infuriated that someone would take what he considered belonged to him, hunted them down and slew every member of the gang in cold blood, slaying most with his lightsabers but finally, in a fit of fury which gave him the power to do so, strangeling the leader with the force. He was amazed at the strength that his dark emotions gave him, allowing him to do things he never had the strength to do before. He returned to the Jedi Temple, and with an elaborate story expained the death of his master as well as trying to justify all of the other deaths. Sensing his deception in the Force, an investigation was launched, and when the truth was discovered, he was taken into custody for those crimes and found guilty of murder. Fortunately for him, only one Master was actually physically present, all of the rest being in the field due to the war, and three were needed to sever his connection to the Force. He was held in custody for months, until the night of the Jedi purge, when he was able to escape as the fallen Anakin Skywalker slaughtered all present. He quickly stole a small ship and fled the temple, heading for Bespin. Realizing he needed funds to survive, he took up bounty hunting to support himself. With his combat skills, enhanced Jedi reflexes, and moderate force powers, he was able to become somewhat successful, but never quite attaining the respect that he felt he deserved. Several years ago, he was hired by the Empire for an assassination and information recovery mission. After retrieving the data pad, he went to the delivery point, where to his surprise, he was confronted by Darth Vader himself, lightsaber drawn and ready to strike. Seeing his death in front of him, Jair fell to his knees, begging for his life and promised to pledge eternal loyalty to Vader. The Dark Lord must have seen some use for the Jedi bounty hunter, because he stayed his hand. Nobody knows what happened in the interviening years, but recently Jair reappeared on the scope taking the odd bounty hunting job. He approaced the Empire, claiming that he specialized in hunting Jedi. He was given a trial contract, in which he stalked Jedi Knight Ola Fig Trakken into the Hapes Cluster, and slew her there. He was since hired with an extended contract as a professional "Jedi Hunter".

Personality

Jair has the personality of a midlevel toady. He ruthlessly abuses his power with those under him, and subservient to those in a position to help him get what he wants. He is merceless and has no regard for life anymore, only taking live prisoners when that is an exact condition of the contract. He is arrogant, egostisical, and cowardly. He values his own skin above all else. He has come to crave power at all levels, and eagerly seeks more. He loves the power that the dark side has given him, and ambitiously craves more. He will do anything to get what he wants. His is quite impressed with his own abilities, and often likes to brag and so off to others.

Appearance

Jair is a darkly handsome man of middle years but is to vain to reveal his true age. He prefers to wear black tailor made clothing, with his twin lightsabers in holsters on his thighs for quick drawing (the one in his left hand is a short silver blade, and in the right is a regular sized violet blade). He also carries twin blasters at either hip, and has several hidden bounty hunter and assassin tools on his person at all times.

I think he suffers from Chakat Syndrome... To great and too well known. The Emperor would have killed him rather then leave someone this much in the galaxy's eye to become Vader's new toy. What I'm saying is tone him down a bit... Bounty hunter is fine but if he's hiding from the Jedi Order then he wouldn't want to stand out. In fact he would do everything possible not to. Once the order was gone then the Empire started hunting down all the Jedi still alive he would most likely go into hiding. That is until maybe Vader "found" him and started using your character for special missions. Plus maybe giving him a little training on the side which would explain why he now has a grasp of the Dark Side.

I agree with Deepcrush. The only Dark Jedi are the Cult of Palpatine which really only practice some dark jedi powers and don't really understand it, Inquisitors which are very limited in power and trained only to one purpose. Such as Lightsaber dueling but suck at everything else- for if they grow too powerful they're killed. And groups that are cut off from others like the Witches of Dathomir.

If you want to be a Dark Jedi keep it a hidden secret. Even if he's an Inquisitor he wouldn't want the average person to be aware of his powers. Suspecting is fine but the Empire has worked up an anti-jedi fevor on purpose. It'd be ill advised for him to make himself known.

What you could do is similiar to the tactical officer on the Valkyrie, if you like RPng someone like that a trandoshan bounty hunter is great. I do like the homeworld, I'm tired of seeing people from the same planets. Coruscant is okay because its so vast but I hate seeing Tatoonie as the birth planet.

Also remember this mission is a midlevel mission. We're never going to talk to Vader. Our contact is the Zancon NPC (i suppose I should write a bio up about him). We have a Star Destroyer only because there are Jedi in the area and this is a large rebel resourec producer. Everyone is pretty much little known and average... kind of like the Star Wars version of the Daystrom.

Also there are 20 million races in the Star Wars Galaxy feel free to experiment with them and make up your own long as you have an RP reason for them being there. :)

Good start but I think overall a toned down character would be better. Especially if Rochey is suppose to intimidate him :P
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

It's Reliant's baby, but I'd say yes to there being room.

@ Kendall - I think what we're doing is having each player create his own "fleet," of ships totaling 1200m in length. For ease of use, we're not going by tonnage or volume.

Right, you create your primary character and supporting characters, then set up your own fleet with no more than 1200 meters total to use, (1 1200 m ship, or two of 600, etc.) and pick personal gear. Interaction between players would be only if we feel like it. It was fun to set up, though I think getting it started will be a bit more difficult.

Well I'll just post my main, and take it from there. A fleet like this should probably have thier own "specialist" of sorts.

Name: Telos 097
Age: 17 at the beggining of the Clone Wars
Race: Human/Mirulukan hybrid
Class: Jedi Hunter / Commando / All around Mechanic
Hair: Black with slight hints of blue in certain light
Eyes: Gray, though glow a faint purple whenever hes feeling intense emotion
Height: 6'2
Wieght: 150 lbs

Background

Records on Telos are all but non existent of his life before the Clone Wars. All that is known about him is that he was raised alongside the first test generation of clones. Rumor states he had a biological brother named Nikko, but all records of said brother have been wiped clean, if any existed. Telos was known not only for his quite determination and durasteel personaility, but for the company he kept in the form of his personnal squad of Commandos, know as Maelstrom Squadron. Supposedly, Maelstrom started out with triple the roll call of a regular Commando squad. Consisting entirley of Alpha generation, Maelstrom consisted of a select few of clones the Kaminoans deemed inadequate, a trait Telos found to be a strength of each of them. Maelstrom was also known for its two droid Commandos, T34M and HK-M9, and the only female specimen cloned from the Fett genome.
All members of Maelstrom other then Telos are either marked KIA or MIA in the official Imperial records. Telos and his faithful astromech T34M are the only known survivors of Maelstrom, besides HK-M9, still surving the Empire. HK is currently working as a free lance bounty hunter and assassin.
Other then being under the direct command of Chancellor Palpatine, little is known about Telos' mission portfolio, other then by word of mouth. Numerous accounts from clone soldiers and thier non-clone commanding officers have been reported as "Storm sightings". After the Clone Wars, Telos fell of the grid for quite a few years. When he returned around 0 ABY, looking just as young as the day he left. He was 19 by the end of the Clone Wars.
Currently acts as a Jedi hunter for the Emperor, as well as special ops Commando for which ever Fleet he is currently assigned to.

Personality

Telos fits the strong silent type profile. A semi-loner, he believes heavily in Mando traditions, though rarely shows it around others. Fiercely loyal if you gain his respect, but hell incarnate if you cross him. Well versed in a majority of the main dialects and languages of the Core and Outer Rim worlds. When he believes his mission is morally sound, no power in the 'verse will stop him. No one knows why hes so intent on tracking down Jedi. He rarely ever kills them, merely hunting them down and turning them into the Empire. His motivation is his own. One word of warning. Telos doesn't take osik from anyone.

(Gotta double post for the appearance. The post reply page is freaking out if I make the post any longer then this. Really sorry for any inconvinience this may cause :( )

Appearance

Everything about Telos's equipment and appearance is custom. Most of the time he can be seen wearing his heavily modified variation on a Clone Commander's rig. His armor is kept immaculatly clean, the Gold and Red markings adorning the white plating always shining when in the presence of his superiors. His hair hangs down slightly in spikes, giving him a youthful, yet at the same time, dark visage. Generally considered handsome, even though a short scar stretched from his right cheek bone to his chin. As prementioned, his eyes, generally a gray-silver color, will glow a slight purple when hes feeling any sort of strong emotion.

His helmet is a normal trooper helmet, modified to have the same sensor and communications suite as a Republic Commando. A macro binoclular is attached for quick access. A more curious note, a rough resemblance of the Togruta symbol jedi knight Ashoka Tano was known for. It is believed this symbolizes that she was the only Jedi he killed during Order 66. This theory is backed up by the fact that her lightsaber hangs the belt of his hunting kama, though no hard evidence has been brought to light to prove this theory.

A number of other lightsabers hang from Telos's gray kama, though he has never been known to use them. It is possible that they were trophies from jedi he hunted down after Order 66, as Mandolorians like to take trophies. The designs of the lightsabers vary, two most notable are one that has a vicious looking bladed hand gaurd and one that resembles the popular design most jedi used after the Mandolorian War. At most Telos will have six lightsabers on his person at any given time.

Though skilled in almost all forms of weaponry, Telos rarely uses specialty weapons other then his own. He carries a DC-1A/m Assault Rifle, outfitted with a grenade tube and a rechargable energy hotgun type attacthment. He has razor sharp ejectable blades built into his gauntlets, and two full auto assault pistols hanging from belt holsters.

Final most notable feature of his appearance, would be that his right arm plating cannot be removed. After one of his earlier misions he returned with a fully mechanical arm, the plating built into it. The ejectable blade in this arm is slightly longer and far more wicked looking then the one on his left gauntlet. The slight whirring of servos can be heard when it is completely silent around him.

Overall, Telos can either fade into the background when need be, or be an extremely intimidating figure.
