I have no objection to NX-06 Buran. I'm actually amazed that many of us like the name, with all the other ones we were spitting out.
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

I think Buran is slightly more appropriate. dunno why but I can only think of the canine version of Beagle.

Intellectually I realize the Beagle was Darwins ship, and yet for some reason I can't help but think of Snoopy when I see it proposed as a ship name...atleast if we went w/ Beagle we'd have the crews shoulder patch design! :-)

How about New Horizons? It certainly represents exploration the best.
