ENT Roleplay: The Poll

Post by Reliant121 »

I'm taking a poll to see who'd be willing to make this work.

I might be persuaded, if it would be more interesting than the usual RP. I find it extremely boring and difficult to come up with ideas, now if I could be a Tellerite than probably.

I can play interstellar asshole without to many problems, I should think.

So far positive. I'll leave it open for another day or so until i ask Graham or Ian to create another subsection concerning it.

I could be perswaded to join in. I"m not an RP guy, but I'm not against the idea. The only reason I didn't get involved before was that the others were already started... and I wasn't invited.

I'll give it a go, perhaps my guy can be written in as a wandering merchant/merc or something so it's easier to come up with ideas and I don't need to be in every scene.

Short attention span don'tyouknow.

The invitation is to everyone stitch ;)

Perhaps, Kendall, you could operate on a seperate ship that crops up randomly, much like the Kumari seemed to do.

Hey Stitch, I wasn't invited either and yet somehow managed to muscle my way in :-). I think really a "hey, I'm interested" and an idea of what you can add to the game is all thats required.
I find it extremely boring and difficult to come up with ideas
Thats why I suggested we have an end goal in mind--crew eventually gets replaced on the front lines by a Daedalus vessel (either "Front Lines" of the war, or "front lines" of exploration, whichever we feel like). That way we have a definite direction and we can probably explore more of the characters feelings, do they resent the aliens that remained neutral in the war (ie Vulcans), do they resent being shoved aside by the Daedalus, do they welcome the Daedalus? etc.

Just a suggestion, but (naturally ;-)) I think it's a good one.

MM&I
"All this has happened before --"
"But it doesn't have to happen again. Not if we make up our minds to change. Take a different path. Right here, right now."

I agree with you MM&I. The personal and political intrigue of the Daedalus class being introduced could be interesting indeed. And the animosity toward the Andorians/Vulcans/Tellerites for being of alien decent could be a good plot line.

as i say, i'll get a message to Ian asking if we can establish a seperate subforum for this.

and yes, anyone is welcome. No invitation required.
