x steps to Tom Paris

Post by Teaos »

Ok pretty simple game you start at the main page of Memory Alpha. You then click the random article page, then by clicking the in article links in each article you see how many times it will take you to reach the page about Tom Paris.

Example:

Random page: Merfadon (is a type of sedative)
Step 2: Kira Nerys
Step 3: Quark
Step 4: Q
Step 5: Voyager
Step 6: Tom Paris!

6 steps to Tom Paris
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Does the article have to be about Tom or simply mention him?
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

I think you have to get to his page, Tom Paris, to finish the game.

Random: Humans (took me a while to click on an article blidfolded)
Step 2: Voyager
Step 3: Tom Paris

This is hard. I've done it twice more, and each time took more than 7 steps. Now, to get down to two.

I could be misunderstanding the rules but I don't think you have to do this blindfolded. Only your very first starting point has to be random, and you can click on the "Random Page" button to start you off.

There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.
