Did DITL forums go down?
I tried logging on in tutor this morning and it failed.
Then it failed just 10 minutes ago.
Did we have problemos?

Well, it's kept giving me problems for the last hour. Same problem Mikey described.

Even with those you can still get power issues, batteries can fail after a while. Also they cost a lot more than $20. The kind of UPS that an ISP uses cost about $20,000, requires a three phase power connection and supports a whole bunch of servers. The ones we use in our server rooms at work cost about $1400 and will provide about 2200VA for about 15mins. They supports about 2 servers and a disk array.
They do have them but, as I say, they're not perfect.
