No, it won't. I just finished re-reading Starship Troopers after not having read it in about 20 years; and it reminds me how bad these films are.

I saw the movie before I read the book and knew better. But, then again I was just a kid and I thought that the movie was a spoof. After reading the book, I can't say I blame my younger self for that train of thought.

I love the political comercials in these movies.

I really liked the first movie and this one looks like it'll be a continuation of that. I just hope they stay away from the format of the second movie.

um...oh dear...Starship troopers returns to our screens...if my TV wasn't so expensive i'd destroy it to save myself starship trooper torture...I hate those films...

I never saw the second movie. I learned that they were indeed not spoofs and there for ran away. I have to admit that the first one made me laugh alot so if its anything like that one, I might just see it for some giggles.
